The Double-barreled Shotgun in the Hitman series is a standard 12-gauge shotgun, capable of high amounts of damage at close range. Although devastating in close quarters, the shotgun is useless at long ranges. It is not concealable.

The Sawn-off shotgun is a variant of the double-barreled shotgun. Unlike the double-barreled shotgun, this weapon is concealable. In Hitman 2, it's treated as a mix between handgun and a shotgun. In Contracts, this weapon is two-handed.

The Sawn-off Shotgun Dual is a handgun dual of the sawn-off shotgun that is only available in Hitman: Contracts. This weapon is concealable. The Sawn-off Shotgun dual is a very powerful weapon, almost always guaranteeing a one-shot kill when fired at close range. This weapon is obtained by achieving a Silent Assassin rating in Rendezvous in Rotterdam.
