Icon-Character

Sebastian Sato (Japanese: セバスチャン・サトウ) is a male character who features in the Paris episodic mission The Showstopper. He is a clothing designer who has been hailed as one of the boldest young designers of his generation.

Background[]

He plays a role in certain opportunities and challenges during the mission. He wears a unique piece of clothing but it is not a disguise, meaning Agent 47 can not put on what he's wearing.

Sato has a strained relationship with Sanguine owner (and mission target) Viktor Novikov, with whom he will frequently argue.

Role[]

Sebastian Sato is the lead fashion designer for the Sanguine Fashion Show taking place at Palais de Walewska. He was intimidated by Viktor Novikov, and felt like his creativity was being stifled by Novikov. Sato can be seen with the rest of the makeup and clothing designers, close to the runway of the palace.

In the briefing for A Gilded Cage, a news ticker shows that Sato quit Sanguine soon after Viktor Novikov was killed, despite Sanguine becoming more popular than ever and Sato no longer having to answer to Novikov.

Cycle[]

Sebastian Sato will spend a lot of his time in the Dressing Area where he evaluate the models, often expressing despair and exasperation in a comically overwrought manner. Once the show has concluded, he will join Novikov on the catwalk to give a speech, during which he states that his recent fashion designs were meant to incorporate the notions of helplessness and powerlessness; not only does this hint at his relationship with Novikov, but these are in fact are central themes of the World of Assassination trilogy itself.

On Top of the World[]

Sato makes a cameo appearance in the Hitman 3 mission On Top of the World as a guest in high balcony bar, wearing another unique and extravagant outfit.

The Sebastian Principle[]

Sato is the target of the tutorial escalation The Sebastian Principle in Hitman 3, which also takes place in Dubai.

The Dartmoor Garden Show[]

Sebastian Sato is one of the three judges in The Dartmoor Garden Show, along with Cornelia Stuyvesant and Lucy Phillips. As such, he can also be one of the potential targets in the escalation’s third level where two random judges must be eliminated.

Trivia[]
