Nicholai Kamarov was the FSB section chief before he was assassinated through a perfectly staged suicide, on orders by Viktor Novikov.

Biography[]

Nicholai Kamarov was section chief at the FSB and was considered to be Kremlin's golden boy. He was already described as being young at the time of his death, considered to be an overachiever by some other people in the business.

Assassination[]

As section chief of the FSB, Kamarov was leading the criminal case the FSB was mounting against Novikov. This lead to Novikov having to tie up lose ends, not only destroying the evidence but also hire an assassin.

The night before the events of The Showstopper mission taking place, Nicholai Kamarov was assassinated by someone hired by Novikov. It was a perfectly staged suicide where Kamarov was found dead with a gun in his hand inside his office, which was also locked from within. There were also evidence planted in Kamarov's safe to make him look like a traitor, having leaked state secrets to Langley and thus looking like a spy for the CIA.

Kamarov is one of the many deceased figures listed by Tamara Vidal when she is guessing who Agent 47 has killed during his career at ICA. Unlike most of her guesses, Diana Burnwood confirms that she and 47 were uninvolved in his death.
